At the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2026, Bio ELAK showcased its products for one day at the Green Export booth. During the event, approximately 100 trade visitors and members of international buying delegations visited the booth to explore the products and discuss potential applications.

Several products attracted interest for different applications. Star anise powder was explored as an ingredient for restaurant chains, particularly vegetarian restaurants, while sea grape powder generated interest in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. These responses highlight the potential to develop products for specific applications and address clearly defined B2B needs.
From Local Ingredients to Value-Added Ingredients
Bio ELAK’s green business model is built on combining Vietnamese plant-based ingredients with modern processing technologies to develop value-added ingredients with broader applications.
The company develops powdered products from a variety of raw materials and ecological regions, including star anise from Bình Liêu, Quảng Ninh; sea grapes from Khánh Hòa; and red tea from Lâm Đồng.
Rather than bringing raw materials to market only in their basic form, Bio ELAK focuses on developing them into powdered ingredients that are more convenient for storage, transportation, and formulation, serving a wider range of customers across the food value chain and related industries.
Using Technology to Create More Value from Local Ingredients
A key feature of Bio ELAK’s model is the application of nanoencapsulation technology to help protect natural active compounds, improve ingredient stability, and limit oxidation.
The company uses naturally derived carriers such as inulin and gum arabic to develop more stable and convenient powdered ingredients for applications in food, beverages, nutritional products, and new product formulations.
The application of technology not only creates new product formats but also expands the potential value of the same raw materials, creating more opportunities to reach B2B customers looking for specialized ingredients.
